I did a painting of a friends horse, just its head, and when I finished I showed a few friends at work. The first painting I'd done of a horse, and my first painting on canvas. Long story short, it ended up being displayed at work (I work at a busy cafe/bar/bristo) and today it sold. I was just completely astounded. And guess how much it sold for.. Nope, not the $40 price tag I would've put on it. It sold for *$100*! I'm completely blown away with a $100 note sitting in front of me...
